About
Welcome to the Honey Lab, a research group studying minds, brains, and machines at Johns Hopkins University. Our home is in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences, and we are affiliated with the Department of Neuroscience and the Data Science and AI Institute.
People
Our team includes faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduates working at the intersection of cognitive science, neuroscience, and computation.
Research
Our goal is to understand how memory processes, especially automatic memory processes, shape thinking in humans and machines. By studying brain responses to narratives and open-ended thinking tasks, we have mapped how people segment thoughts and experiences, maintain mental context, and construct meaning over time.
Publications
We publish in broad-interest outlets as well as specialist journals in cognitive science, neuroimaging, and machine learning. We strive to make everything publicly available.
Resources
We share annotated brain imaging and behavioral datasets from real-world settings, as well as tools and code from our research.
